Sojourner Truth: ex-slave, civil and women’s rights activist,
fierce orator, and a powerful singer.

A Woman Called Truth is a story of the life and achievements of Sojourner Truth. 
The play includes accurate events of her life and many of the words are her own.

Fee: First show - $400

         Second show (same day, same venue) - $275

Educational Goals

1) Allow students to experience a play performed live.
2) Enlighten students regarding the life and accomplishments of Sojourner Truth.
3) Teach students about this horrible aspect of American History.
4) Cause students to think about the ramifications of prejudice and discrimination.
5) Inspire students to make a positive impact towards equality for all people.
